Viewlocity Appoints New Australian Managing Director

Viewlocity, a global provider of supply chain event management software and services, has announced the appointment of Tim Cavill as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr. Cavill brings over 15 years experience in the IT industry to this position. In his new role, Mr. Cavill will be responsible for the region's direct sales, channel development and Viewlocity's professional services organization, which focuses on implementing supply chain event management (SCEM) and e-business integration solutions as well as providing knowledge transfer and local support to customers and partners.

Mr. Cavill was previously director of sales for Viewlocity, responsible for managing the sales and pre-sales team, as well as client relationships within Australia and New Zealand. Before joining Viewlocity, Mr. Cavill was channel sales manager for SAP Australia, where he established and developed SAP's business channel business model, and managed the sales management team and channel partners.
